The Position
Interim Programme Manager
Introduction
NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board was formed on 1st July 2022 under the Health and Care Act 2022, replacing NHS Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group.
NHS Frimley is the new statutory NHS organisation responsible for planning and delivering health and care services. It works collaboratively with partner organisations including the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, people and communities across the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS).
Frimley ICB covers around 800,000 people across the following five areas:
- Bracknell Forest
- Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
- Slough
- Surrey Heath
- North East Hampshire and Farnham

The context
Frimley ICB engaged with Rinnova to bring in an Interim Programme Manager, aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery through strategic planning and operational improvements.

The solution
The interim led the development and delivery of five business cases to support a variety of in house initiatives.
Particularly in BI, the Programme Manager developed a future delivery model for systemwide analytics, ensuring integrated and responsive services that support Population Health Management and forward planning.

The impact
This initiative has positioned NHS Frimley ICB to achieve significant efficiencies and cost reductions, meeting ICB running cost reduction targets.
The efforts in developing comprehensive business cases and programme plans have facilitated systemwide improvements and received NHS England’s approval.
