01

The context

Building on the success of the premium healthcare integrated models, the UAE, KCH Management and Ashmore Group are launching a similar project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They required Rinnova to execute a search for a Chief Executive Officer to lead a 150-bed multi-specialty private hospital located in Jeddah, set to open in 2024.

02

The solution

  • Our advisors proactively assisted Rinnova’s research team with candidate identification and qualification across Europe, Australia and North America.
  • Tim Elsigood played a key role during the shortlisting and interview process, in partnership with the client.
  • As this role required a relocation, we supported the chosen candidate to make a well informed decision by using an advisor with first hand experience operating such services locally.

03

The impact

  • In partnership with our client and with advisor input, our discussions ensured the right skills and experience for long-term success were shortlisted.
  • Our client was able to lean on advisors who had operated such services locally, to ensure that cultural transition from the UK was likely.
  • Less than 6 weeks to shortlist.

“The right leadership of our portfolio companies is paramount to our success and, ultimately, the return on investment we can deliver for our investors. We were recently supported by the Rinnova team, led by Carl, in recruiting a new CEO for a recent investment in the healthcare sector.

While this was our first opportunity to work with Rinnova, we were impressed by their focus towards truly understanding our needs, the high degree of professionalism with which they conducted the search and the deep insights and guidance they offered throughout the process. We will certainly look to work with Rinnova again on our future leadership team requirements.”
